Habicht

Scale 1: 3,5
acrobatic oldtimer glider

These pictures were kindly shot by Jörg Kukla
at the Hahnweide oldtimer meeting in September 2005,
where this fullsize Habicht showed several very nice acrobatic displays.

Christoph Zahn was at the controls, his father and grandfather do the ground assistance.

The fullsize Habicht was manufactured by this family-  A GREAT JOB!

 “at home”:
visiting the Nabern/ Teck airfield, where about 65 years ago
the Wolf Hirth company
produced the fullsize version.

The Habicht’s  classic lines    combined with...

 ... modern aerodynamic features
 result in a versatile glider...

... with
 good gliding performance,
 docile handling
and
great aerobatic capability.
